How to save and make money?

I'm in middle school, and in January my grade is going to Costa Rica for about a week, and the trip will cost upwards of 1000 dollars. How can I make money? I am beginning to babysit for neighbors, and petsit, but what else can I do?

3. If you are beginning to babysit now, your name will get out there, and people will hear you are reliable and kind, and more opportunities will come your way. The best advertising is word of mouth. Other things you could do - run errands for elderly or housebound neighbors, help tidy gardens (a lot of people might be planting out summer bedding plants now), mow lawns, car wash, even collect recyclable cans you can redeem for cash. Other people might suggest paper rounds. Save every penny of your earnings and all of your pocket money. There are 38 weeks left until the end of the year. Some weeks could be more profitable, especially in summer when you could also consider cookies or a lemonade stand. If you can earn 30 dollars a week, you will have got $1140 by then. Good luck !!!
