how much money would i spend to make ma car automatic?

i have a 1993 honda civic dx 2dr and i want to make it automatic. how much would it be the total with parts and everything?

1. New ECU for the car New ECU for the transmission New transmission Torque converter New gauges, to reflect the correct transmission Shifter linkage That's a short list. That's about 2,500 in parts. Figure another grand for labor. For a car that's worth less than that.
2. it would cost more then what the car is worth.. trade your car in on the car you want with a auto.. but ballpark around 1400 to 2000 to make it. depending where and how many miles on the trans your buying..
3. Way too much Money ...not Worth it Trust me....If its a rear wheel Drive Non Computerized American Vehicle then you would be fine.. But that is not the case here... Please Please please drop the Idea...Besides you will lose On the ground Power and torque... Also it may require a different Camshaft as well as other things...Is it a job that will make you ultimately happy..? Just Believe me on this..! All that money and not happy is not a good thing...
