Any ideas on how to make extra money?

I don't trust online surveys and stuff like that where they rip you off. Has anyone found anything that works? About three of us in my family are trying to raise some extra money to send for my sister and her two daughters to come back home, hopefully around summer but everyone is broke and even fund raising may be too difficult because a lot of other organizations are doing fund raising or yard sales etc... I've sold a few things on e-bay, but I don't have much anyways.

1. make a website and become an affilate and place the companies ad on your site.. everytime somone clicks on a link, and buys something, u make money. but that will take u too long to make anything. You guys gotta sell at a flea market, or have a yard sale of your own. babysit, offer to help a neighbor with errands or do a cleaning job.
